Reflection on Practice ToolView Resource
This resource aims to support teachers to reflect on their professional knowledge, practice and engagement with reference to the Australian Professionals Standards for Teachers.
The RPT questionnaire removes the identifying information for the Domains, Standards and Focus Areas and presents them out of their usual order. Though still grouped in their Focus Areas, the Descriptors are also out of their usual order and the career stages have been removed.
The RPT requires teachers to consider each individual Descriptor and to choose the ones that most closely align to their practice, without being influenced by organising information such as career stages.
